Patient Responsibility for Insurance Verification
Given the substantial variation in insurance plans and third-party administrator (TPA) protocols, patients are primarily responsible for contacting their insurance provider directly to verify current plan benefits, coverage limitations, and specific requirements. While our staff is available to assist with eligibility verification, the clinic cannot guarantee insurance coverage or be held liable for coverage determinations.
Non-Covered Services and Out-of-Pocket Fees
Please be aware that most medical insurance plans exclude coverage for specialized therapeutic modalities. Services typically not covered by insurance—including herbal medicine and prescriptions, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostic consultations, medical facial treatments, and wellness/maintenance therapies—require full out-of-pocket payment at the time of service according to our published fee schedule.
